As a Business Objects Specialist you must have a strong background in SAP Business Objects 4.1 internals, configuration, processes, procedures and technology.

You must have had responsibility for modeling, configuration, implementation, and end to end testing of Business Object implementation for a large group or organization.

-You must have in-depth knowledge about networking and firewall configuration with respect to Business Object webserver and app servers.

You must have knowledge and experience with both DW and BI security architecture, especially involving disparate platforms such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Active Directory (AD).
You must have experience developing processes and procedures in support of a large enterprise BI/DW environment.
You must be able to follow software development processes, prepare detailed documentation and generate work estimates in an SDLC environment.
You must be quality conscious and be dedicated to delivering quality products on time and on budget.

Onsite Requirements: Worker will be required to work on site with the team. Working remotely will be limited and must be pre-approved by the Direct Supervisor.

Must be able to work with Business Customers, Section Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in a professional and collaborative manner to define strategies and implementation approaches.
Must be able to work with the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence and Data Administration Teams in a professional and collaborative manner to ensure that data models comply with organizational standards.
Must prepare all required artifacts accurately and in a timely fashion.
Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to develop processes and procedures for BI/DW infrastructure.
Must be able to work independently in a team environment with local and remote teams
Must possess knowledge of project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum

-Must possess problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary

Must perform related work as assigned
