VP of Operations (Manufacturing)

salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per yearshift: First

Responsibilities
Plan Operations - prepare producion- across buildings : attend production meetings, kick offs, and gather all necessary data to produce D3 projects
- check that BOM parts and cleitn supplies have been ordered, scheduled and received
- go through BOM and drawings with COO and indus. When needed ask for adjustments and tweaks
- in connection with prod managers and indus, set production plans: buildings flux, lines, specific need
- translate in detailed plannings (macro/micro)
- align with operation managers (CNC, Deco, VF)
- physically follow projects across buildings, make sure they meet QD and time expectations
- lead daily follow up meetings (15mm) with supervisors
- feed dashboards and visual management. Stress out red flags
- lead 'crisis' meetings when needed
MANAGE PRODUCTION
Supersivor Assembly Operations- make sure supervisors organize production activities according to plans
- adjust the labor needs in regard of the load
- make sure production meet expectations in terms of pace, lead time and efficiency
- interact with all production managers (cnc, vacc, deco, ASM), push if necessary, find compromises in order to meet expecaations (date, quality pace)
- keep a close with project managers. Adjust plans when needed, inform them
- report to COO any risky situations
- work with Industrialization department and provide jigs, line layout, methods
- propose improvements, better procedures, organization
