Houston - Purchase & Sales Specialist

We are offering a long term contract opportunity for a Purchasing Specialist in Houston, Texas. This contract will be at least one year but could be as long as a two year contract. As a Purchasing Specialist you will be involved in the entire purchasing processes from beginning to end.
- Handling the purchasing and procure-to-pay process
- Working on invoice resolution in collaboration with the Accounts Payable team
- Expediting procurement processes to ensure timely delivery
- Analyzing different aspects of the Procure-to-Pay process
- Building and maintaining supplier relationships
- Quoting, analyzing, and comparing purchasing strategies
- Ensuring accurate accounting functions and maintaining purchase agreements and orders
- Leveraging your knowledge of SAP ERP and P2P in daily tasks.
- Proven experience in Accounting Functions is necessary
- Aptitude in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
- Proficiency in drafting and managing Purchase Agreements is vital
- Ability to handle Purchase Orders efficiently is crucial
- Familiarity with the full cycle purchasing process - from getting quotes, vendor communication to working with AP to handling all POs and payments
- Knowledge of innovative Purchasing Strategies is expected
- Proficiency in SAP ERP system is essential
- Experience with P2P (Procure to Pay) process is required
