Responsibilities:

• Perform routine x-ray and CT imaging as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation during procedures.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and position patients accurately.
• Provide care for patients of all ages.
• Explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure a positive experience.
• Monitor patients for reactions during and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and radiation doses.
• Comply with hospital regulations, including safety and attendance policies.

Qualifications:

• Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiography.
• 1-2 years of experience in Radiology or X-Ray.
• ARRT Registry eligibility (must be obtained within one year of hire).

Working Conditions:

• Work in a well-lit, air-conditioned environment with moderate noise levels.
• Potential exposure to bright lights, high noise levels, hazardous substances, or infectious organisms.

• Periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads may occur, and overtime may be required.
