The Opportunity
The position of Facilities Engineer is within our Rapid Diagnostics business unit located in Westbrook, Maine. In this role you will provide overall facilities support for the site and function as the primary contact for facility modification including validation efforts.Working closely with Facilities & EHS Manager, outside contractors including architects, engineers, general contractors, and trades people to provide the best outcome for building expansion and renovation activities. This position will support equipment reliability through PM optimization and replacement plans.
What You’ll Work On- Support business Project Managers and new project execution through a facilities lens.
- Coordinate with Facilities Manager on Preventative Maintenance Plan improvements and new equipment PM implementation.
- Review and optimize PM SOPs with facilities team members.
- Work with OEMs to ensure proper critical spares are accounted for all equipment.
- Act as the primary contact for facilities validation efforts.
- Support Warehouse optimization activities.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.

- B. S. in Engineering or another related or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in related industry.
- Prior experience in facility maintenance, design, and validation.
- CMMS systems experience, PM planning experience.
- HVAC Systems design / understanding.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent; Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
- Cleanroom systems knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes and regulations.

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
