Class A CDL Driver - Local Drop & Hook
Job Overview:
Legacy Supply Chain is hiring Class A CDL Drivers for dedicated fleet located in Ontario, CA. As a Class A CDL Driver you will be responsible for local driving (home every day/night) transporting bulk commodities, drop & hook. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Tuesday through Saturday - 4:00pm to 12:30am
- $28.44/hour (Non-Hazmat drivers)
- $30.44/hour (Hazmat drivers)
Job Details:
What to expect as a Local Class A CDL Driver:
- Complete all necessary pre and post inspection paperwork and scale all loads in the yard
- Ensure all shipment and billing paperwork is completed properly
- Deliver trailers to all types of yards and placing them in the customer’s specified location
- Provide a club yard check and trailer mileage at the time of delivery
- Meet with customer staff and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License & Medical Card
- Must have at least 1 year(s) recent Class A driving experience
- Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required
- Clean MVR (DMV) printout, must provide current MVR
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements; physical and driving
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule
- Ability to physically lift 50 pounds
