Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Azure and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will focus on data curation, cleaning, structuring, and integrating data from various sources, including Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain complex database systems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection and processing.
• Curate and clean data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services to build data solutions.
• Develop and maintain optimal data structures and architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval systems.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, maintain, and implement robust, scalable, and secure database solutions.
• Optimize database performance and implement effective backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Develop and maintain database-driven applications and web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document data requirements.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's data strategy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Database Administrator.
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, and data integration techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
