Overview:
East Penn is currently seeking a 1st shift Electrician whose primary responsibility will be to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the Fire Alarm System.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain, Repair, Troubleshoot and Install Industrial Manufacturing Equipment and Systems
- Maintain, Repair, Troubleshoot and Install Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems
- Repair and Rebuild Electrical Replacement Parts for Industrial Manufacturing Equipment and Systems
- Conduit Installation
- General Electrical Maintenance Work
- Note: Hi Voltage experience is a plus
- *Maintains regular attendance
- *Ability to work mandatory over time
- Performs other duties as requested
- Responsible for producing a high quality product
- Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices
- These tasks are considered essential elements of the job
Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or Experience in the following areas:
- AC/DC Electrical Systems
- Electrical Control Wiring Systems
- Power Distribution Systems
- Electrical Motor Control
- Electro-Fluid Power Systems
- Electronic Sensors
- Basic Mechanical Drive Systems
- Occasional Welding
- Basic and Precision Measuring (electrical and mechanical)
- Shop Equipment (saws, grinders, presses, etc.)
