Job Description
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify and address workplace hazards.
  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to safety policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS topics, including emergency response and hazard awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Track and report EHS metrics, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health, engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing EHS challenges.
  • Familiarity with EHS management systems, metrics tracking, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
