Business Analyst

This role is essential in our team as it enables us to assess our performance and make informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation, integration, and maintenance of enterprise-wide business systems.
• Employ various techniques such as data aggregation and data mining to interpret results.
• Develop and automate reporting through visual basic scripting and SQL programming.
• Work closely with clients, project leaders, and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
• Collect business system requirements and analyze business processes.
• Test application enhancements and end-user reports, identifying any gaps and developing plans to address them.
• Conduct business process simulations and user acceptance tests.
• Train end users on application functionalities and enable them to take ownership of the applications.
• Document procedures to standardize processes and maintain process controls.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers, customers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain a broad awareness of the hardware, software, and networking components of the strategic system architecture.
• Monitor and troubleshoot go-live events, providing status updates and identifying areas for improvement. • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• In-depth understanding of Business Process Functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and MySQL
• Experience with UNIX systems
• Familiarity with Oracle Supply Chain Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred
