Bilingual Mandarin Talent Aquisition Specialist

The bilingual Mandarin Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. This role requires a high level of expertise in recruitment processes, a strong network of talent and recruitment resources, and the ability to manage multiple job openings simultaneously.

Retail industry experience and a strong grasp of talent identification are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to meet the company's staffing needs, with a strong focus on retail positions.
  • Leverage a variety of sourcing methods including direct sourcing, social media, networking, employee referrals, job fairs, and recruitment agencies to build a pipeline of high-quality candidates.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for at least ten open positions at any given time, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and job specifications and provide guidance on market trends and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Utilize strong assessment skills to screen and shortlist candidates effectively, ensuring a match with company culture and job requirements.
  • Maintain a strong network of industry contacts, recruitment agencies, and headhunters to source passive and active candidates.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in sourcing technologies and recruitment trends, particularly within the retail industry.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of talent acquisition experience, with a strong preference for candidates with retail industry experience.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple recruitment projects and achieving hiring targets.
  • Extensive network of recruitment resources and a proven ability to source candidates through various channels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires onsite work 5 days a week at our West Covina office.
