We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The primary job function is to manage service schedules, process invoices, and maintain accurate records in the industry. This role will involve regular interactions with various teams such as service, project management, and finance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Efficiently coordinate and track ongoing service schedules, ensuring subcontracted work is completed within the set timeline.
  • Process and review invoices from subcontractors, ensuring they are accurate and comply with service agreements.
  • Validate that subcontractor invoices align with completed services, making adjustments for discrepancies when necessary.
  • Oversee the timely forwarding of subcontractor invoices to the billing department for processing and customer invoicing.
  • Facilitate communications with subcontractors regarding invoice submissions, clarifications, or delays in payments.
  • Collaborate with the service and project management teams to update service schedules and monitor job progress.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all invoices, services, and communications.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies between subcontractor invoices, work orders, and customer billings.
  • Produce timely reports on outstanding invoices and collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to track payments to subcontractors and ensure all accounts are in good standing.

  • Possess at least two years of experience in an accounting clerk role or similar
  • Proficiency in account reconciliation is required
  • Experience in billing processes and procedures
  • Demonstrable skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with invoice processing
  • Experience in inventory tracking
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in using monday.com for task and project management
  • Must have a high level of integrity and reliability
  • Demonstrable ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with financial software and databases is a plus.
