Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Conducting regular ledger maintenance.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Tracking and maintaining fixed asset ledgers.
• Preparing quarterly sales tax returns.
• Assisting with annual budgeting and auditing.
• Supporting accurate and timely annual, quarterly, and month-end close processes.
• Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Assisting with initial internal control evaluations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with computerized ledger systems, Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
