Customer Service RepresentativeHours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries on the telephone and in writing
- Analyze and research accounts to resolve issues
- Interact with other departments and field representatives to provide comprehensive service to our customers
- Update customer files
- Contact customers by telephone and in writing to schedule service appointments and gather information
- Generate field orders
- Process adjustments to customer accounts
- Assist in the training of new employees
- Establish payment arrangements with customers
- Review aged receivables and generate collection activity as necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required; college degree is preferred
- At least one year of experience in an office environment, which includes contact with the public
- Candidate should have a strong desire to work with people
- Comfortable working in a group setting and the ability to work independently to resolve issues
