Project Accounting Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking to hire a Project Administrator to assist in managing our ongoing projects. This role requires an individual who is highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating payroll and timecard for approximately 60+ union craft workers while ensuring compliance with prevailing wage and union requirements.
- Overseeing the purchasing administration which includes order placement, electronic receiving, setting up new vendors and coordinating with vendors.
- Processing Accounts Payable for all project related material and expenses.
- Ensuring proper document control related to the various activities.
- Handling new hire processing which includes dispatching from the Union Hall, new hire paperwork and orientation, hardware set up, and additional onboarding tasks.
- Managing project office facilities including maintaining office equipment and supplies, breakroom maintenance and providing support for meetings and events.
- Administering subcontractors - this includes the preparation of monthly pay requisitions and DBE reporting.
Preferred Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy civil/roadway construction, WSDOT Construction and have knowledge of prevailing wage and union requirements.
Skills:
The desired candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have experience with LCP Tracker and Coupa, with SAP experience as an added advantage. This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
