Receptionist

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Receptionist in North Andover, Massachusetts. This role involves tasks related to administrative assistance and receptionist duties in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

• Answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
• Ensuring the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Managing the purchase of office supplies as needed
• Conducting light administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
• Utilizing MS Office tools to perform daily tasks and manage records
• Greeting and directing visitors, as well as handling inquiries from the public
• Updating and maintaining office policies and procedures
• Sorting and distributing mail, and preparing outgoing mail and packages
• Organizing and scheduling appointments and updating calendars
• Assisting other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry, and internet research tasks. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated experience in administrative assistance
• Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Proven experience in performing receptionist duties including handling phone calls, emails, and face-to-face inquiries
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
