Controls Engineer

• The ideal candidate will lead the controls aspect of designing, specifying, qualifying, and deploying control systems and connection to manufacturing systems
• Collaborating with multiple functions within operations, product development, and other capabilities to create value
• Create new PLC and HMI programs from scratch for various types of automation equipment (Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs)
• Integrate Allen Bradley PLCs to various types of automation equipment: Stepper Motors, Industrial Lasers, Fanuc Robots, Vision systems, Barcode Scanners, etc
• Program and connect automation systems to existing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Collaborate on concept design, programming, testing and deployment of automation systems
• Identify and address improvement opportunities in the manufacturing processes and equipment
• Troubleshoot/diagnose and repair issues on automation equipment
• Add and/or modify logic on existing equipment to include advanced quality checks and improvements
• Manage planned equipment upgrade projects
• Design/Create electrical schematics for new automation cells
• Create electrical safety circuits for new automation cells using programmable safety controllers and/or Safety rated PLCs
• Create and maintain Bill of Material for controls components on automation projects

Pay: $85,000 - 95,000 (depending on experience)
