Operations Manager

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Operations Manager in Warwick, Rhode Island. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, maintaining a customer service mindset, and making recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee goals and objectives set by the department head
• Coordinate, schedule, and document all department training activities
• Maintain enforcement of established safety and security practices and policies
• Provide primary response during airport incidents from the Airport Emergency Operations Center
• Review complaint reports and conduct necessary follow-ups
• Supervise the preparation of all court-related documents, including complaints, warrants, and subpoenas
• Act as the Police Department's representative in coordinating with federal jurisdictions for U.S. Code violation matters
• Assist in the preparation of the department's budgets
• Respond to emergency calls as necessary
• Formulate plans to ensure proper staffing coverage of the Police Department
• Assist in the procurement of supplies and materials for the Police Department
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
• Must have experience in a Police Department
• Familiarity with ADP Financial Services for payroll and employee benefits management
• Must have supervisory or management experience
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for business process management
• Ability to implement ERP Solutions for improved business efficiency
• Experience with About Time software for effective time and attendance tracking
• Strong understanding of budget processes and financial management
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members, stakeholders, and clients
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards applicable to the industry
• Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention
