Lead and manage the clinical operations of our ophthalmology practice by managing the clinical and technical staff, quality standards, and compliance with healthcare regulations, while actively working to improve patient outcomes and clinical practices within their area of responsibility.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of ophthalmology clinical management experience and possess strong leadership and management skills. Responsible for interviewing, training, and ensuring the successful orientation and onboarding of new technical staff.
Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural, and policy
Responsible for purchasing clinical supplies, inventorying medical equipment, and medications.Strong leadership and managerial skills to include training, coaching, performance management and feedback, employee development, and conflict resolution. Organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR); Nextgen preferred.
5+ years of related experience. Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification required; certification as an Ophthalmic Clinical Manager (OCM) or similar is a plus. Must be able to commute to 3 offices in NJ.
Work hours: 40 hours per week with occasional evenings and infrequent SaturdaysBenefits: 401(k) matching, Dental insurance, Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance. Schedule: 8 hour shift -Monday to Friday
