Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining productive and efficient schedules
- Answers incoming calls to include new patients and emergencies
- Establishing trusting relationship with new patients
- Verifying Insurance
- Patient registration and check out
- Tracking pending and incomplete treatments
- Managing recall and unscheduling treatment lists
- Brief patients on treatment plans and practice’s policies
- Preparing and Presenting treatment plans
- Making sure dental goals are being met in regard to dental services
- Requesting records
- Patient follow ups
- Posting payments
- Knowledge of case acceptances, budgeting, and insurance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 2 or more years dental front office experience required, with experience with responsibilties listed above
- Experience using dental practice software, preferrably Dentrix
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs
- Exemplary customer service and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with a team
