Physician Assistant - Pain Care

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Pain Management Physician Assistant to join our growing comprehensive interdisciplinary team at the M Health Fairview Pain Management Center in Burnsville, MN.
The M Health Fairview Pain Management Centers are a large interdisciplinary network of outpatient centers with a clinical staff of physicians, advanced practice providers, pain psychologists, and pain focused physical therapists. The team manages a large number of acute and chronic pain problems including musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, visceral pain, headaches, cancer pain, and pain related to serious medical conditions such as transplantation.
An ideal team member would be practicing non-interventional pain management, although training for office based procedures such as Botox for chronic migraine, trigger point injections, occipital nerve blocks, and trochanteric bursa injection is available and encouraged, to allow for independent practice.Applicants should be skilled in the assessment and management of chronic pain with special expertise in behavioral, occupational, and physical reconditioning aspects of pain management. Applicants can work in a clinic environment alone, but will have virtual access for support from other members of the provider team.
Practice Details:
- Outpatient clinic practice at the M Health Fairview Pain Management Center in Burnsville, MN.
- We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
- Strong referral base from the M Health Fairview Medical Group primary and specialty care providers.
- Schedule is Monday through Friday (every 7 weeks minimal call).
- Full-time - 1.0 FTE.

- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- BC/BE through NCCPA.
- Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
