As a Polisher, you will play a crucial role in the production process by refining turbine blades to meet exacting industry standards. You will work with various tools and equipment to remove surface imperfections, achieve desired finishes, and ensure components are ready for assembly and performance in aerospace applications.

education: No Degree Required

• Perform polishing and finishing tasks on turbine blades to achieve precise dimensions, surface smoothness, and finish quality.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment (e.g., grinders, sanders, buffing machines) to remove burrs, imperfections, and rough edges.
• Inspect and assess parts for defects, surface irregularities, and conformance to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand polishing requirements.
• Maintain consistent quality control standards throughout the polishing process.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality inspectors, and production team members to ensure parts meet engineering specifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines for handling tools, equipment, and materials.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Record and document completed work and communicate progress to supervisors.
