About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager Trusts to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in trust taxation and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals(link removed) You will oversee complex trust tax returns, review staff-prepared returns, and manage client relationships(link removed) This is a hybrid role, offering a balance of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage trust tax returns prepared by staff, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.
• Own complex client accounts, providing high-level tax planning and advisory services.
• Advise high-net-worth clients on estate and trust taxation strategies, collaborating with attorneys and financial advisors.
• Mentor and train tax staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance on complex tax issues.
• Stay current on tax laws and regulations affecting trusts and estates, ensuring best practices in tax planning.
• Assist with tax research and planning related to trust structures, charitable giving, and estate planning strategies.
• Participate in client meetings, offering insights and tax solutions tailored to their needs.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of tax experience, with a focus on trusts and estates(link removed)>
• BA/BS in Accounting (CPA or MST preferred).
• Strong knowledge of trust taxation, estate planning, and high-net-worth client management(link removed)>
• Experience reviewing trust tax returns and mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients confidently.
• Proficiency in tax software and research tools.
