The Role:
The Talent Acquisition Senior Associate is a member of the National Experienced Hire Team and responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and referring applicants for client facing, and administrative positions throughout the firm. Talent Acquisition Seniors must possess advanced skills in interviewing techniques, as well as a solid understanding of functions within the firm.They must be comfortable communicating our firm’s history and differentiating factors to candidates.
Primary job responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with Regional and Local Office Hiring Managers to assess hiring needs, and implement efficient recruiting process for positions;
- Understand market attributes to assist in developing recruiting strategies for long term and sustained growth;
- Identify innovative methods of job advertising/posting to ensure high visibility with potential candidates;
- Screen and interview candidates (by phone or virtually) and assess potential fit; ensuring candidates qualifications match our needs; are a cultural fit and are a fit from a compatibility standpoint.
- Effectively and enthusiastically communicate what sets Andersen apart from competitors;
- Follow up with candidates and Hiring Managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process;
- Administer interview and office visit process including preparing candidates and coordinating arrangements for upcoming interviews, conducting interview debrief sessions, managing offer approval process and final disposition status;
- Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with candidates and internal and clients;
- Maintain data and distribute reports for candidate pipeline, pending candidates, offers extended, and inactive candidates;
- Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS), currently iCIMS;
- Manage application/resume file and retention according to firm policy;
- Manage time effectively to support multiple business lines and recruiting geographies;
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with strict confidence.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related degree preferred;
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, a professional services environment is preferred;
- Familiarity with alternative sourcing methods and social media tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.), although active use of all tools is not required;
- Knowledge of iCIMS is preferred, or applicant tracking system/application skills; and
- Effective communication skills, including verbal (logical and organized), written, listening and presentation.
- Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;
- Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel.
