Career Transitions is supporting a high-growth precision machining shop located in southwest Michigan to help them onboard a Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for product testing and ensuring quality standards are met/exceeded.

Quality Engineer responsibilities:

Demonstrated experience with IATF 16949 standards.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T standards.
Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Exposure to Lean methodology including 8D corrective actions.
Four plus years in a quality related role in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience working with CNC machines.
Microsoft Office knowledge required.
