Information Security Analyst

We're hiring an Information Security Analyst/Generalist to join our Souderton Information Security Team.

Responsibilities:

The primary duty of this position is to ensure the privacy, integrity, and availability of all corporate and customer data in accordance with the company’s information security program.

Perform daily operational real-time monitoring and evaluations of security events from multiple sources.

Identify anomalous traffic, monitor login activity, search for indicators of compromise, and react to detected events as appropriate.

Handle security incidents from identification through containment, eradication, recovery, and reporting.

Energetically monitor emerging threat intel, plan and implement detective and preventive measures as appropriate.

Conduct information security risk reviews for prospective technology acquisitions.

React to audit and examination findings.

Coordinate remediation of vulnerability scan and pen testing findings.

Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.

Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 5 years’ progressive experience in an information security assistance position, preferably in a financial services environment.

Bachelor’s degree in an information technology-related field.

Hands-on experience using a diverse set of network and endpoint monitoring, alerting, and investigative tools across a variety of platforms.

Experience required in securing and monitoring cloud services, particularly salesforce.com and Office 365.

Mastery of internet routing and application protocols with emphasis on TCP/IP.

Programming experience with one or more scripting languages.

Ability to conduct research into IT security issues, products, and services required.

Highly self-motivated.

Ability to work self-reliantly and with other teams.

Strong written and oral communications skills.

Excellent evaluative and problem-solving skills.

Wage Range:

The salary for this position begins at $75,000+
