The Village at Rockville, a leading Continuing Care Retirement Community, is seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our vibrant team. As the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and staff, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Assist visitors in connecting with the appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Manage incoming calls, transferring them as necessary and taking accurate messages.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Provide accurate information via phone, email, or in person.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for various departments.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and reorder as needed.
Requirements
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multitasking Experience: Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Administrative Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in an administrative role.
  • Microsoft Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
