**Position Overview:**

As a Hospice Registered Nurse at Talbot Hospice, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive and holistic care to patients and their families. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care plan, ensuring the highest standards of comfort and support during this sensitive time.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate and manage the overall care delivery, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including symptom management and pain control.
  • Educate patients and families on the hospice philosophy and care options.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting, and one (1) to two (2) years of recent experience in hospice or home care.
  2. Current Registered Nurse RN Licensure in State of Maryland and CPR certification.
  3. Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.
  4. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
