Overview:

Seattle area-based La Panzanella® Artisanal Foods Co. is part of the family-owned company. Our mission is to create uniquely crafted and always delicious artisan foods. From our non-GMO verified line of Italian Croccantini® crackers to our European-inspired Dolcetini® artisan cookies, our products are made with recipes and traditions handed down through generations and preserved today.

Key Ingredients:

• Effectively supports a safe working environment within Madrona Specialty Foods, including but not limited to maintaining a daily cleaned and well organized work space.
• Remove products from sections and place into packaging while maintaining standard productivity rate for packing by product.
• Make manual adjustments to wrapper machine to wrap packaging container, as per approved training.
• If needed for special orders, place nutritional / ingredient label made by supervisor on package.
• Place fully packaged products into case boxes; operates case sealer machinery.
• Prepare and mix flavored powder, operates tumbler machine to coat product.
• Pack coated product into containers and weighs to ensure product meets specified weight requirement, add or removes product as necessary to maintain packaged weight.
• Test packaging according to Quality Control schedule and guidelines.
• Report issues/concerns to direct supervisor.
• Ensure that all job tasks are performed in compliance with all food safety and quality management system rules, procedures, policies and guidelines.

Recipe for Success:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Or relevant experience.
• Good hand eye coordination to break, weight, and package products in a repetitive fast pace environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to learn and apply approved quality standards to products on the production line.
• Desire to learn how to operate various packaging machines.
• Basic math and communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must be able to pass background check and drug test. Madrona Specialty Foods participates in the E-Verify program
