The day-to-day:
Day to day, you will:
- Be a part of all project phases - Plan, Analyze, Design, Build and Test
- Help define and establish Cloud operations, processes, procedures, and tool sets to handle and maintain client solutions
- Develop, modify and improve client infrastructure solutions
- Support systems integration testing, component integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Support project change management
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
Your role will be integral in determining and implementing proven strategies that ensure our cloud operations are not only efficient but also exceptionally reliable. You will work closely with our ambitious technology and design teams to build fully coordinated technology, operations, strategies, and solutions that cater to our clients’ needs.

What you'll need:
Education Requirements:
- Completion of Bachelor’s degree or higher between May 2023-August 2025 in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology or a related area
Additional Requirements:
- Passion for IT, Cloud operations, and automation, and you want to apply your technical expertise to solve tangible business problems
- Experience resolving problems with applications and cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of systems engineering and/or infrastructure
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services and experience in project-based environments
- This position requires U.S. citizenship
What will help you on the job:
- You're a superb communicator with a talent and passion for technology, who understands how to develop a project plan into a successful software solution
- Your technical knowledge may include core AWS technologies, python programming, other cloud technologies, networking, data center operations, platform migration and enterprise directories
- Previous Viasat internship experience
