Senior Project Engineer (Industrial Systems)

Our client is seeking a senior project engineer to support the sales and application engineering of their Elkton, MD business. The project engineer will be responsible for project execution, generating project documentation and working with their application engineering group to make project decisions related to schedule, budget, purchasing, field construction, and commissioning industrial air pollution control applications around the world.

• Customer service to meet customer needs and expectations
• Detailed project engineering on equipment to manage a wide variety of process gas streams, for abatement of airborne VOC and particulate control
• Basic understanding and managing company sizing sheets for heat and material balances of products
• Strong technical writing skills for proposals and engineering documentation
• Strong presentation and speaking skills
• Ability to redline and coach designers on generating project process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, and general arrangement drawings, manuals and instrument lists
• Participating in technical discussions with customers to effectively manage projects
• Ability to find suitable trade partners for various aspects of projects
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision making skills
• Other duties as assigned

Location: Elkton MD

• Commission schedule to be negotiated.
• 3 weeks paid vacation per year (negotiable)
