WHAT DO PORTERS DO?
Janitors/ Housekeepers will do a bit of everything to keep businesses running cleanly and smoothly. They make sure that all areas of the buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. Janitors/ Housekeepers spend their days picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms.In addition, Janitors/ Housekeepers might run errands, deliver items, move stock, or anything else that their supervisor might need.

Requirements:- Must be energetic, outgoing, and be able to relate well to co-workers and patrons.
- Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time.
- May require some lifting (under 40 lbs.), standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
- Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and weather. Working outside in some cases.
- Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
