On-Call RN - Weekends
Overview:
Sanctuary Hospice is currently seeking a Full-Time Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, providing exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will play a vital role in identifying patient and family needs, coordinating care, and offering preventative measures and compassionate support.
On Call Weekend Schedule - Friday 4:30 pm to Monday 8 am

Responsibilities:
- Be the Lifeline: Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine, your unwavering support will make a difference in critical moments.
- Provide Empathetic and Heartfelt Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. This is your chance to truly connect.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail is vital to our success.
- Provide Support for Families: Impact patients' families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones. Your presence offers confidence and reassurance during this challenging time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
- Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a Plus!
- Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR.
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification if required by state.
