Location: Penn Yan, NY (Finger Lakes Region)
Seeking a compassionate, patient focused Clinical Therapist, for a outpatient mental health clinic, located in Penn Yan, NY.
The Therapist will undertake planning, problem-solving and quality improvement activities and assist in assuring smooth, effective delivery of care in response to client and community needs.
The clinic offers individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and behavioral issues in an outpatient setting. The clinic is staffed with licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, care managers, and a psychiatrist, offering a truly collaborative approach to care.
The clinic also offers Care Management Services to individuals in need of assistance. These services help individuals navigate their way through other medical services such as, community agencies, housing programs, medications, social services benefits.The clinic operates within a hospital setting, which offers 24-hour crisis services for prompt care of psychiatric emergencies within the Emergency Department.
Requirements -
Education:
Minimum: Masters degree in Social Work with Certification
License:
New York State Mental Health Counselor License, Social Work License to practice in NYS or New York State Nurse's License.
NYS Drivers license clear of violations consistent with policy.
Certifications: BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
Minimum: 1 Year experience in a mental health or hospital setting Preferred: 3 years of experience in a mental health setting.
