The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods, materials, and information across the organization. This role involves optimizing processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving efficiency to support business objectives while minimizing costs.The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics and supply chain activities to deliver products on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
Job Description- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Forecast demand and create procurement plans to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Logistics & Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Optimize logistics routes and shipping methods to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost efficiencies.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Implement inventory control systems and tools for accurate tracking.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and finance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Use data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance, KPIs, and cost analysis for leadership review.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.
- Monitor market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.

The Successful Applicant- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Proven track record of managing supply chain activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
