We are searching for a talented Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day Shift, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Responsibilities:
Position reports to the Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager. Duties include coordinating the procurement of specialty medication for the Outpatient Infusion departments at all three hospitals. Employee will travel between hospital sites and keep track of specialty medication inventory.

Position requires working closely with multiple departments within Southcoast and specialty pharmacies outside of Southcoast.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
  • Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
  • One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
  • A valid drivers license is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Epic.
  • Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range: USD $20.24 - USD $34.52 /Hr.
