AS548 - Full-Time Infant Nanny - Tribeca

Overview:

The family has two older children who are in school full-time and have their own nanny. This role will begin in the second or third week of October.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of infant care
• Maintaining a sleep and feeding schedule
• Preparing purees and baby food
• Creating an engaging and stimulating environment
• Keeping the baby's things tidy and organized
• Baby laundry
• Planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings

Qualifications:

• Warm and nurturing
• Willing to work as a team with another nanny and an involved mother (mom is a SAHM but is quite busy)
• Extensive infant experience
• Looking for longevity
• Empathetic and communicative about emotions and feelings, with the ability to teach those skills
• Confident and able to handle full-charge care when needed

Requirements:

• Fluency in Spanish is HIGHLY desired but not required
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally several times per year
• Willing and able to spend at least part of the year in the Hamptons with the family
• Comfortable in the water with children
• Up to date on Tdap, willing to get a yearly flu shot

Salary and Benefits:

• $30-38/hr.
