This is a combined posting for a Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Responsible for helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Required to exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations.Supervised by the Charge Therapist/Lead Therapist or Supervisor. Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity.
Reports to the Manager or Supervisor of Respiratory Services.
The Sr. Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Serves as preceptor and mentor in the department and liaison with others in the hospital as an experienced respiratory care practitioner.

Respiratory Care PractitionerRequired qualifications: Coursework/Training and Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
Upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide a working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of the Respiratory Care field.
Preferred qualifications: 1 year of Acute care experience.Respiratory Care Practitioner Salary Range: $32.67, $51.70
Senior Respiratory Care PractitionerRequired Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
upon hire: Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
4 years Acute Care experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.Sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in critical care areas and NICU and to provide a working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of the Respiratory Care field.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Respiratory Care.Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner Salary Range: $32.67, $51.70
