Accounts Payable Lead

Your role will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of accounts payable within our organization. You will be the go-to employee for questions on AP from other members of the team and will exhibit problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact for resolving issues related to Accounts Payable.
• Display initiative in identifying and resolving coding and system-related problems.
• Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular check runs to maintain financial accuracy.
• Utilize your problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in statements and/or payments.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.
• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately.
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software systems
• Knowledge of account coding
• Experience with data processing
• Ability to conduct check runs efficiently
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
