We are in the process of hiring a Sr. Accountant for an exciting company located in Lake Mary, FL. This position offers a 2-3+ month contract employment opportunity in a fast-growing industry. This role is based in-office and will partner directly with the Controller to assist with all day to day accounting transactions as well as audit preparation.

Responsibilities:

Undertake account reconciliation duties effectively.
Manage balance sheet reconciliation tasks.
Conduct bank reconciliations regularly.
Maintain and update the general ledger.
Prepare and process journal entries accurately.
Handle month end close procedures.
Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks.
Prepare necessary documents and reports for audit.

Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Proficient in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Ability to perform accurate Bank Reconciliations
In-depth knowledge of General Ledger management
Experience with preparing and analyzing Journal Entries
Understanding of Month End Close procedures
Familiarity with NetSuite software
Prior experience in Audit Preparation
