U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer (Multiple openings) in Minneapolis, MN.
The Principal Software Engineer – Full Stack Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. This role takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience.Specific duties include: (1) designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products; (2) developing and deploying applications on public cloud like Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Jenkins and troubleshooting the issues using Splunk logger; (3) working on applications built on technologies including React, Angular, Typescript, Java Script ES6, Core Java, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap with responsive design; (4) using Postman to test the API workflow tested on the JSON files which are generated by the Node JS, and Express JS; (5) using React JS components, Forms, Events, Keys, Router, Redux, Context API & common front-end development tools including Babel, Webpack, and NPM; (6) working with React Flux architecture; (7) developing enterprise applications using - Angular/React/Node JS/Java and Node.js; (8) developing and implementing REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js. and using Postman to test the REST APIs JSON payload; (9) Dev Ops capabilities including containers, cloud deployments, automation, security, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines (10) providing technical expertise for Frontend and Backend developers in Graph QL technology; (11) working with Front End (Web, App) and Back End services; (12) developing and evolving Graph QL standards, review schema designs, and manage schema change processes; and (13) developing single-page applications (SPAs) using various Java Script frameworks including React, Angular, Node.js and Express.js.
Basic Qualifications:This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Applied Information Technology, or Computer Science and 3 years of experience working with React Flux architecture. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Applied Information Technology, or Computer Science and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience working with React Flux architecture.
Required Skills/Experience:Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: (1) using React JS components, Forms, Events, Keys, Router, Redux, Context API & common front-end development tools including Babel, Webpack, and NPM; (2) developing and implementing REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js. and using Postman to test the REST APIs JSON payload; (3) developing single-page applications (SPAs) using various Java Script frameworks including React, Angular, Node.js and Express.js; (4) developing and deploying applications on public cloud like Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Jenkins and troubleshooting the issues using Splunk logger; and (5) working on applications built on technologies including React, Angular, Typescript, Java Script ES6, Core Java, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap with responsive design.
Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
