Vault Cashier | Part-Time | Penn State Athletics

Overview:

Verify, balance and record incoming and outgoing cash, coupons or other items of cash value. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Oak View Group's policies and procedures.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $23.

Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

This position will remain open until Nov 30, 2024

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate a wide range of financial transactions and handle any paperwork that may be required in an efficient and timely manner.
• Count out outgoing and incoming cash, coupons, or other items of monetary value and verify for accuracy of count, denominational quantities and appropriate signature/date.
• Create Cash Control Forms and Cash Pick Up Slips.
• When vault is restocked with revenue, verify amount on the Safe Count Form.
• Perform verification assignments including counting or verifying count, sealing and labeling and completion of required documents for Deposits.
• Additional duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• Experience handling cash and managing vault transactions
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
