Job Title: Certified Operating Room Surgical Tech
Duties:
- Assist in major surgical procedures by preparing sterile equipment and instruments.
- Perform scrubbing duties for various surgical specialties.
- Ensure surgical tools and supplies are sterilized and in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
- Handle specimens and ensure proper labeling and transport to the lab.
- Monitor and restock the operating room with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols during all procedures.
Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in scrubbing for major OR procedures.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- NBSTSA CST Certification (no substitutes) and AHA BLS required.
