About the Role

As a Staff Product Designer at Hinge Health, you'll shape the Core Member Experience by designing features to help users manage pain and achieve their goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll create intuitive, user-centered solutions from concept to execution, including user research, interaction/UI design, and prototypes.

What You'll Accomplish
  • Develop a vision for the product experience, identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and drive business impact.
  • Lead the design and delivery of solutions that meet goals and positively influence key metrics.
  • Plan and conduct user research with the team, including interviews, A/B tests, surveys, and analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align designs with UX, business, and technical objectives.
  • Use data and research insights to inform design decisions and solve for user needs.
  • Bring creativity and innovation to solve complex design challenges.
  • Maintain and advocate for a high bar of design quality to ensure a positive user experience and outcomes.
  • Mentor fellow designers and advocate for strong design practices across the company.

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.

Qualificatons:

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of product design experience, including partnering with product and engineering teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in interaction, industrial, product, service design or a related field
  • Portfolio showcasing product shipments, expertise in interaction design, and visual design understanding
  • 5+ years experience leading product design from opportunity to concept to shipment
  • 5+ years experience prototyping, user research, and system-level design documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in designing across mobile, desktop, wearables, and other interfaces
  • 1+ years experience in the Healthcare/Fitness/Wellness industry

Compensation

This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

The annual salary range for this position is $172,000- $258,000.
