We currently have an opportunity to for an Electrical Assistant Project Manager in East Elmhurst. NY.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the project team responsible for the Electrical Package Scope of Work (SOW) within a large project.
- Project Oversight: Plan and oversee the electrical scope of work, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Project Planning: Oversee budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project.
- Pre-Construction Transition: Manage the smooth transition from the estimate/pre-construction phase to the construction phase, including design management where applicable, to protect the bid position.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all project activities are conducted in a safe, ethical manner, in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Contract Management: Facilitate, administer, and actively participate in contract discussions, reviews, and negotiations with relevant contracting parties.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5+years of electrical project management experience, including reviewing, executing, and overseeing the client's prime contract, subcontracts, and vendor agreements, extensive experience managing electrical packages within large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge in specific technical or professional disciplines, with a deep understanding of how work impacts other organizational areas.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated expertise in financial operations and cost control within project management.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience with MTA transit systems, including but not limited to building and architectural lighting, access control, communications, fire alarm, traction power, signals, and CCTV systems.

Minimum Salary: USD $140,000.00/Yr.
