We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Tigard, Oregon. In this role, you will be the initial touchpoint for patients, providing empathetic and respectful service. You will utilize your skills in answering inbound calls, coordinating appointments, and using EHR and CRM systems.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for patients, greeting them over the phone with kindness and patience.
• Efficiently handle inquiries and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
• Schedule new appointments and reschedule existing ones.
• Use EMRs for accurate data entry and record keeping.
• Send appointment reminders.
• Execute other administrative duties as assigned.
• Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls in a detail-oriented and friendly manner
• Proficiency in managing a multi-line phone system, efficiently redirecting calls as needed
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively with patients
• Experience in coordinating and scheduling appointments, ensuring efficient time management
• Familiarity with EMR systems, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
• Typing speed of 45 to 60 words per minute, enabling efficient data entry and communication.
