We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in the IT industry, located in Deer Park, Texas. This role involves providing strategic leadership in program and portfolio management, overseeing system development and implementation, and managing projects to achieve strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large, long-range or multiple complex IT application development projects
• Define project scope, set priorities, establish deadlines and schedule deliverables
• Facilitate discussions and consensus among various project stakeholders such as analysts, application programmers and clients
• Manage and monitor project budgets and expenditures
• Utilize skills in IT project management and Coupa to effectively manage resources and align them with project requirements
• Coordinate or oversee the activities of other employees involved in projects
• Identify, prioritize, authorize, manage, and control projects and programs to meet strategic business objectives
• Ensure adherence to company policies, methods, and procedures
• Maintain knowledge of the fields of information technology and project management
• Handle the resolution of any issues or problems arising during the course of the project. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Management or Sr. Consultant role
• Proven expertise in IT project management
• Demonstrable proficiency in using Coupa software
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and projects effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
• Strong organizing and planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in using project management tools and software
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• Relevant detail oriented certification in Project Management, such as PMP or Prince2, is a plus.
