Full Charge Bookkeeper
Robert Half Rochester
Robert Half is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Preparing financial statements
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing
- Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules
- Preparing quarterly tax filings
- Performing month-end closings
- Supervising accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers
- Preparing the trial balance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
- Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required
- Proven track record in Bookkeeping
- Skilled in Data Entry tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a necessity
- Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
- Prior experience with Payroll processing is a preferred
- Expertise in QuickBooks software is essential
