Job Description
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of mixed commercial construction projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Resource Management: Help coordinate the allocation of materials, labor, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
  • Schedule Monitoring: Track project schedules and milestones, providing regular updates to the Project Manager and addressing any delays.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts by conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project expenses, preparing cost reports, and ensuring adherence to budgets.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and meeting notes for reference and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate for the Assistant Project Manager - Mixed Commercial position will have relevant experience in construction project management, particularly in mixed-use developments. They will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, a solid understanding of construction processes and budgeting, and be proactive in problem-solving, with proficiency in project management software.
