Job Description
The Construction Superintendent will:
- Oversee all daily operations on construction sites to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to field staff, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all work is completed according to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Review and interpret construction documents, plans, and schedules, making adjustments and recommendations as necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, resolving issues proactively to maintain project timelines.
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Ensure project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates, is complete and accurate.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client and project team, keeping all parties informed on project status, challenges, and milestones.

The Successful Applicant
The Construction Superintendent should have:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent or similar leadership role within the construction industry, ideally in commercial, residential, or institutional projects.
- Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
- Leadership: Proven track record of effectively managing field staff and subcontractors while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour certification, First Aid/CPR, and other relevant safety certifications.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to address challenges on-site and find practical, cost-effective solutions.
